Under powered! This would be an excellent knife if it was powered correctly!

Bought one of these knives in Canada from Cabelas. Great knife but one of the blades was faulty - the 7 flexible dulled up after very few uses. Put in an online claim to Bubba and received no reply so called Bubba customer service but was told they couldnt help me because they cant ship to Canada!! Not sure how the product got here in the first place!! The guy told me I could buy another blade on Amazon - real good customer service. Cleaned 120 Walleye and Bluegill on one brand new properly charged battery. VERY comfortable to use for my arthritic hands and easy trigger switch.
I have seen some reviews with power complaints. I did feel the machine had plenty of power but required more effort from me than was necessary. I think the fault is in the blades lack of sharpness. Even though they have an aggressive tooth designed for low friction, they are not properly doing the job.
I feel that if they were sharpened to my standards they would hit it out of the park. I am used to high quality blades (ie Bark River Knives) and will make these blades meet them. My first priority is to come up with a system to sharpen these to an edge I can live with.
Out of the 8 or so electric (cordless and plug-in) that I have used, these are the ones for me. Like I said, the power and life is awesome, just need to tune up those embarrassingly not quite as sharp as they need to be blades. (Originally Posted on: Bubba.com)
